FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi struck a hat-trick in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, and has now scored more goals than Cristiano Ronaldo in the competition's group stage. Will the Portuguese respond?

Before Barca's 4-0 win over PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday night, Messi had scored seven hat-tricks in the competition and had 60 goals altogether in the group stage of the tournament.
The Argentine then struck a hat-trick to bring up 63 group stage strikes in the competition, and has now gone past Ronaldo, who has struck 60 times in group stage games so far.
Messi has now scored 103 goals in 126 UCL matches since his debut in the tournament in the 2004/05 season.

Ronaldo and Juventus will play Valencia in the Champions League on Wednesday night, and the Portuguese will certainly be looking to continue his form in the competition.
