Paris Saint-Germain star Lionel Messi has shared his thoughts on Barcelona's sacking of Ronald Koeman last month.
The Dutch coach was relieved of his duties as manager at the end of October after a string of poor results in LaLiga and the UEFA Champions League.
Barcelona defender Oscar Mingueza recently claimed that the players were not happy under the former Netherlands boss and did not believe in his methods.
Messi, however, seemingly feels that the Catalan outfit pulled the trigger too quickly on th Dutchman, just as they did with Ernesto Valverde.
"You are always unfair to coaches. It was unfair with Koeman, with [Ernesto] Valverde," he told Marca.
"When there are bad results, the easiest thing is to target the coach, change him and not the players.
"Koeman arrived at a very difficult time at the club in which important players left, but he was able to remove many young players.
"As I told you, the easiest thing is always to blame the coach. And they also know it because it is their profession."
