Barcelona captain Lionel Messi has caused a bit of a stir after he hosted a gathering for his teammates at his house this week.
According to Barca Universal, the 33-year-old had all his colleagues over at his home in Barcelona following their 3-2 win over Valencia on Sunday.
It is claimed there were loud chants of "campeones" ("champions") coming from the house, which might have been related to the team's recent Copa del Rey triumph over Athletic Bilbao.
There are, however, some concerns in the Spanish press that Messi might have had his teammates over as a farewell, with the Argentine still strongly linked with a move away from the Catalan giants ahead of next season.
Others have suggested it was just a chance for the squad to rally together before their final four LaLiga fixtures, which Barcelona will need to win if they are to stand a chance of winning the league title.
Ronald Koeman's men are currently third on the table, just two points behind leaders Atletico Madrid, whom they will go up against this weekend.
