As it stands, the Frenchman is set to become a free agent when his current deal at the Parc des Princes expires on 30 June, and has been heavily touted to join Real Madrid all season.
Reports suggest that PSG have ramped up their efforts to try to extend the forward's stay in the French capital, but no official agreement has been reached with the club, a sentiment his mother, Fayza Lamary, shares.
French outlet Le Parisien reported on Thursday evening that the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner and 2021/22 Ligue 1 champion had agreed a two-year extension that would keep the striker at the Parisian club until 2024.
Lamary, however, has issued a swift response via Spanish newspaper Marca, insisting that her son is yet to agree to a new deal with Les Parisiens.
"It is completely false that Kylian has renewed," Mbappe's mother said.
"There's no agreement in principle with Paris Saint-Germain or any other club. Discussions around Kylian's future continue in great serenity to allow him to make the best choice, in the respect of all the parties."
According to the Spanish outlet, Mbappe plans to meet with PSG's chiefs on 15 May after the conclusion of the Ligue 1 awards to navigate a way forward for both parties.
