The 18-year-old, who set French football alight last season when scored 26 goals and assisted another 14 strikes in 44 games for Monaco, joined Paris Saint-Germain on an initial loan, which includes an obligation to buy worth €180 million (R2.8bn), during the recent transfer window.
The starlet, who reportedly had posters of Cristiano Ronaldo on his bedroom wall while growing up, was recently asked to name his football idols, but did not include Messi – arguably one of the best players of his generation – in his answer.
"Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and Eden Hazard," he told FFF TV when naming his footballing idols.
The teenager, who was also heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid in the recent window, has scored two goals in four games across all competitions so far this season.
