French superstar Kylian Mbappe caused a major stir when he was spotted in Madrid this week, amid rumours he could join Real Madrid as a free agent in the next transfer window.
Messi Hits Unfortunate Milestone At PSG
According to Spanish press, the 23-year-old was seen in Spain's capital on Monday with Paris Saint-Germain teammate Achraf Hakimi, who spent his formative years with the 13-time UEFA Champions League winners.
While the reason for the visit to Madrid is unknown, Mbappe reportedly had dinner with Hakimi and the Morocco international's brother at a famous restaurant in the city.
His presence in the capital of Spain has naturally fuelled rumours that his expected move to Real is drawing closer, with his contract in Paris set to expire at the end of the season.

There is, however, fresh hope in France that the 2018 FIFA World Cup champion will extend his deal with the Ligue 1 winners after it was reported that PSG are willing to make him their highest-paid player on a short-term renewal.
Per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, those in charge of negotiations for Real are still confident of landing Mbappe as a free agent in June, with Marca having claimed the player will only announce a decision at the end of the 2021/22 campaign.
This means the world will have to wait until at least 21 May for Mbappe's future to be confirmed, although his recent trip to Madrid could provide a hint as to where he sees himself next.
