Former Real Madrid and Brazil playmaker Kaka has given his thoughts on the rumours linking Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar with a possible move to Los Blancos in this transfer window.
Speculation over a possible move to Santiago Bernabeu has been rife since the world’s most expensive player reportedly met PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi to express his unhappiness in the French capital.
Kaka says should Neymar want move to Madrid, he would need to be psychologically ready as the pressure and attention around him would be massive and difficult to manage.
"It is a personal decision," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"If he signs for Madrid now, maybe they will say he only went to Paris to build a bridge to get to Madrid. However, if that is what he wants, he must do it and be ready to manage the situation.
"There's always a lot of pressure on him. In Brazil it is incredible, they speak about his performances, his class but also about his hairstyle and the bags he carries. He is a great player, but also a celebrity and it is not easy to manage all that."
Neymar made 123 appearances for the Blaugrana in the Spanish top flight, scoring 68 goals and assisting in a further 51 strikes.
