Ronaldo left Juventus in the final days of the latest transfer window after scoring 101 goals in 134 appearances in the previous three seasons for the club.
After a shaky start to the season, Massimiliano Allegri's charges have got their campaign back on track in all competitions, and Bonucci has now claimed they are playing more as a team now since Ronaldo's exit.
"It's absolutely true [playing more as a team]," the Italy defender told Sky Italia.
"In the recent past we had lost this characteristic from Juve, we were playing with a great champion like Ronaldo and we wanted to put him in a position to always do well, thinking he could solve all the matches.
"This year we are rediscovering that right humility that it serves to regain victory."
Juventus currently find themselves in seventh position in Serie A ahead of Sunday's clash against defending champions Inter Milan at the San Siro.
