An interesting report has emerged suggesting that Cristiano Ronaldo's teammates at Juventus are not entirely happy with him, and the reason for that appears to have been revealed.
It is said that the 36-year-old cuts a lonely figure at the Bianconeri, with his relationship with his colleagues reportedly almost non-existent.
According to Italian publication La Gazzetta dello Sport, this is due to the rest of the squad believing Ronaldo has too many special privileges compared to everyone else.
This comes a week after the former Real Madrid talisman missed a training session with his Juve teammates to accompany club president Andrea Agnelli on a visit to Ferrari's headquarters, where Ronaldo is believed to have bought a car.
It is further suggested that the only teammate the Portugal captain sees outside of training is 21-year-old back-up goalkeeper Carlo Pinsoglio, who has not featured for the Old Lady this season.
While there is an acknowledgment that Ronaldo is not at fault for what has gone wrong at Juve in this campaign, it does appear that he could move on in the upcoming transfer window, particularly if the team fails to qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League.
Ronaldo fuelled further speculation this weekend when he was present as seven of his luxury cars at his Turin property were loaded on to a moving truck.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has been linked with moves to Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain in recent weeks, as well as his boyhood club Sporting Lisbon.
