The 33-year-old superstar joined Juventus in a deal worth €100 million (R1.5 billion) plus add-ons, and visited the club at his unveiling two weeks ago.
However, he went back on holiday afterwards and only started training with the club this week.
Ronaldo and the likes of Rodrigo Bentancur, Juan Cuadrado, Douglas Costa, Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain, who all returned late from their holidays after the 2018 FIFA World Cup, trained in Italy today, while the rest of the squad is in a training camp in the US.
Coach Allegri has now discussed what he told Ronaldo when they met as work colleagues for the first time.
"With Ronaldo, I spoke about how happy and enthusiastic I am about him coming here, there will be time to speak about football," he said, as quoted by AS.
Allegri also sent a warning to the rest of his squad, saying the arrival of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has not necessarily made things easier for his side.
"Cristiano has lots of international experience and he will help us a lot, but we have to be careful. There is too much euphoria around us and it's not good. This year will be more difficult than others," he added.
"Opponents will be more aggressive because we have won many games and now to have an excellent player like him. They will accept it and also, they will have more motivation."
