With Cristiano Ronaldo failing to score in his first two Serie A games, and having been seen making a frustrated gesture after his teammate Mario Mandzukic scored on Saturday, his coach has now given his thoughts on the superstar's struggles.

Ronaldo returned to the Allianz Arena for the first time since receiving a standing ovation from the home crowd after scoring his famous bicycle kick goal for Real Madrid back in March, but once again cut an unlucky figure in the Bianconeri's second Serie A game of the season against Lazio, despite his side winning 2-0.
The Portugal captain seemed destined to score following a Joao Cancelo cross in the 75th minute but goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha managed to get a touch to slightly change the direction of the ball, preventing Ronaldo from a potential tap-in.
Instead, the ball bounced off Ronaldo's heel into the path of Mario Mandzukic, who volleyed home to give his side a two-goal lead. The former Real Madrid superstar was then seen throwing his hands up in the air, while his teammate ran off to celebrate and Ronaldo eventually joining in.
However, his new boss Massimiliano Allegri has insisted the 33-year-old was not unhappy following the miss.
"He is not angry at all, he smiled because these things happen," Allegri said after the match, as quoted by ESPN.
Ronaldo has now gone two games without a goal in Serie A, but his coach insisted there is nothing to worry about.
"It's only two weeks that he's with us," Allegri added.
"He's intelligent and understands that Italian football is different to that in Spain.
"Today, he played well also in defence, everyone is waiting for his first goal. I'm happy with how he's fitting in, he is a very humble lad."
Juve have started the season with two wins, and will face newly-promoted side Parma on Saturday in their next fixture.
