Inter Milan chairman Steven Zhang has discussed the Nerazzurri's links with unhappy FC Barcelona captain Lionel Messi.
The 33-year-old Argentine was desperate to leave the Catalan giants just weeks ago, but revealed he would not force a move away from his boyhood club as it would have meant taking the dispute to court.
While Messi was most strongly linked with Pep Guardiola's Manchester City at the time, he was also said to be on Paris Saint-Germain and Inter's radars.
The Serie A club's chairman Zhang has, however, now suggested that a move for the six-time Ballon d'Or was not on the cards.

"Such an investment cannot be part of our project. At least, not right now," he told Corriere della Sera.
"Innovation, planning, constant growth, economic stability are our cornerstones.
"Following this path, which involves planning in the long term, we will arrive at the desired results and goals, we will bring Inter back to the national and international level."
Messi has been linked with Inter on a number of occasions throughout his career, and these links have only increased since Cristiano Ronaldo's high-profile arrival in Italy in 2018.
