A former Arsenal player, who has been in incredible goalscoring form of late, has admitted it would be tough to turn down the chance to play alongside FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi.
With the regular MLS season having come to an end recently, a few high-profile stars from the division might seek loan moves until the next campaign begins.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been linked with a temporary move to Napoli in Italy, while Carlos Vela has also been tipped to explore this option, with Barca having been said to be interested in his signature in the past.
Asked recently if he would still consider a loan move to the Catalan giants, Vela said he would struggle to reject the opportunity to work and learn alongside Messi.
"Who could say no to playing with Messi for four months and then coming back to LA?" he said, according to The New York Times.
"Enjoy, learn and then come back home."
The Los Angeles FC forward finished the season as the top scorer in the MLS, finding the back of the net 34 times in 31 games.
