A star who will be going up against Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo in Italy this coming weekend has spoken of his desire to take home the five-time Ballon d'Or winner's match jersey.
Deco Chooses His Best Teammate Ever
Spal forward Mirco Antenucci scored a sublime bicycle-kick goal four years ago while playing in Serie C, a goal similar to Ronaldo's against the Bianconeri in the UEFA Champions League last season.
Asked recently if he thinks the 33-year-old has seen his memorable strike, Antenucci said he is more interested in asking the Juve star for his shirt after their league clash on Saturday evening.
"Maybe he'd be more likely to accept my request: his shirt, of course," Antenucci told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I'll certainly ask him, maybe I'll try and catch him before the game, we'll see.
"Let's say that I'm hopeful, and if he wants mine, it's no problem!"
Antenucci also had no problem admitting that Ronaldo's overhead-kick strike last season was more important than his famous goal in 2014.
"Both of them were beautiful, but let's just say Ronaldo's was a little more important. Anyway, I scored another one, almost as beautiful as the one with Ternana," he said.
"I scored it in Serie C, so no one – or almost no one – can verify it happened."
'Ronaldo Was Angry I Left Real'
Antenucci has scored three goals in Serie A for Spal so far this season, while Ronaldo has found the back of the net on eight occasions in the league.
