Atletico Madrid captain Gabi has slammed FC Barcelona superstar Neymar for his provoking gestures, after allegedly blowing kisses at the opposition players.
The Brazilian and his club clinched the La Liga title following their 1-0 at Atletico on Sunday, but he was later criticised for his attitude.
"It's always the same with Neymar," Atletico captain Gabi told Inside Spanish Football’s Tom Conn.
"He should learn a thing or two from his great teammates Xavi or Iniesta.
“He makes provoking gestures that you shouldn't do. That stays on the pitch."
Neymar was allegedly blowing kisses at Atletico’s players towards the end of the game, which particularly left Gabi and Diego Godin frustrated.
At one point, several Barcelona players and the referee had to protect Neymar after a couple of Rojiblancos stars tried to confront him.
It’s not the first time the 22-year-old has been accused of arrogant behaviour towards the opposition this season.
Gabi and Neymar already clashed earlier this year in the Copa del Rey, when Barcelona boss Luis Enrique had to take the Brazilian off to prevent further confrontations.
