A Former Real Madrid star has defended FC Barcelona superstar Neymar's style of play, which has been criticised by players in the past.
The 24-year-old's style of play comes across as unnecessarily provocative according to some players and managers, while he was accused inciting the Valencia fans, which led to a bottle being launched onto the pitch.
However, former Real and Barcelona stars Luis Figo has leaped to the defence of the Olympic Gold medalist.
"That's Neymar's way of playing," Figo told Cadena Cope.
"If it annoys anyone, that's their problem.
"He's trying to be the best [he can be], that's football and that's his style. Like I say, if that gets to some people, it's their problem."
Neymar has endured a fine start to the season, having already claimed six goals and 10 assists in all competitions this season.
