FC Barcelona fans have mocked Cristiano Ronaldo following the controversy around his birthday party with “drunken Ronaldo” chants.
Ronaldo had been criticised for going ahead with his birthday party after the humiliating 4-0 derby defeat to Atletico Madrid.
Videos and pictures emerged on social media of him singing and dancing at his party just hours after the clash against the defending La Liga champions.
The Portuguese is said to have apologised to his teammates after a backlash from Los Blancos’ fans, as well as a dressing room visit from club president Florentino Perez.
However, Barcelona’s fans have now stoked the fire and mocked Ronaldo with chants of “Cristiano es un borracho,” during their 5-0 win over Levante - which translates to “Cristiano is a drunk”.
The Portuguese, meanwhile, continued his goal drought after failing to score in his third successive game.
Ronaldo was also whistled by Los Blancos' faithful after blasting over a free-kick in his side's 2-0 win against Deportivo La Coruna.
However, Iker Casillas and Gareth Bale received more jeers than the Portuguese when Real’s starting XI was read out.
