The Juventus superstar scored his 26th Serie A goal of the 2019/20 campaign in his side's 4-2 defeat to AC Milan on Wednesday.
After becoming the first Bianconeri star to reach 25 goals in a campaign since Omar Sivori in 1960/61, Ronaldo also overtook Erling Haaland's 50 points in the 2019/20 Golden Shoe race, and sits now in fourth-spot.
Haaland scored 29 league goals in this campaign, four more than Ronaldo. His first 16 strikes, however, came for Red Bull Salzburg, and are only multiplied by 1.5 due to the Austrian Bundesliga's lower ranking in comparison to Europe's top leagues. His 13 other strikes came in the Bundesliga for Borussia Dortmund, and are multiplied by 2.
While Halaand's campaign is finished, Ronaldo still has seven more games to add to his tally. Similarly, Ciro Immobile, who failed to score in Lazio's 2-1 defeat to Lecce, can also still add to his total this season.
The Italian forward has scored 29 goals, equating to 58 points, in Serie A this campaign, which is five strikes less than current Golden Shoe leader Robert Lewandowski.
Messi, meanwhile, has been overtaken by Shon Weissman, whose 30 goals in the Austrian Bundesliga equate to 45 points, while the Argentine remains on 22 strikes and 44 points.
