Manchester United legend David Beckham has revealed how he feels about his former side signing ex-Arsenal superstar Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean was announced as a Manchester United player last week, after he completed one of the most high-profile swap deals in recent times, involving Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Beckham, who wore the famous No.7 jersey that Sanchez now represents, is excited to see the 29-year-old at the Red Devils.
"I still find it hard to believe it's actually happened. It's amazing," he told The Mirror.
"A player of his stature and calibre has obviously come from a big club like Arsenal and then to move to a massive club like Manchester United, that for me makes me proud to be a Manchester United player because we want great players and exciting players.
"It's great to see him wear a United shirt and I'm sure he's going to be successful."
Sanchez made his United debut in the FA Cup last week in a 4-0 win over Yeovil Town, where he picked up an assist.
