Having joined Juventus on a four-year deal, the 33-year-old was unveiled by the club on Monday, after passing a medical.

He became Juve's most expensive signing ever in the process, and has since explained that it was an easy decision to join the Italian side.

"Juventus is one of the best clubs in the world, it was a long-thought out move, but it was an easy decision to join the best club in Italy and a very important step for my career," he said at his unveiling, as quoted on Juventus' official Twitter account.

"I'm very thankful for Juventus for giving me such a value and an opportunity. I'm so proud that a club as successful as Juventus wanted me. I hope I can take Juve to an even higher level.

"I'm here to make my mark on the history of Juventus."

The messi/Ronald comparism it's over now....coz one player has been on a comfort zone for so long.... that's why it's not easy for him to perform on international duties... while the other has been winning trophies right, left and center will all clubs he played for.... and to be that consist for such number of teams in different leagues it's not a child's play....

R Madrid have made a big mistake by letting CR7 go,players come and go its true but not every player is replaceable, yes RM have quality but with him on their side they were almost invcible because his presence alone unsettled oppositions now its Juventus turn to shine in Europe,I respect CR7's professionalism. Barca I remain.

Madrid treated you like n option whereas u made billion of € For them... they didn't value enough as we all though, on the other hand ur all time rival Messi is highly favoured and valued by his employees something Madrid failed to do...they failed you, they used you, they couldn't protect you wen u needed them the most... Good luck on your future endeavors...

@PHAZAMISA AKA NGOZI THE RETURN Sometimes when you comment, you need to stick to the topic and stop bringing names that are irrelevant to the topic. How can a player run away from another player? CR7 has won 3 UCL in a row in front of Messi, so how can he run away if he is winning?

Yes he will & most players run off to Qatar or China if not to the MLS in the US & King CR7 has stated that if he leaves Madrid it won't be motivated by money as he's covered in that department, he's all about making history while others are feeling dizzy & vomiting......& i don't blame Messi for not leaving Barca as we all know it's a jungle out there & only few can perform in different colours while we all know Messi only performs in Barca colours & idiots can make noise all they like because they kow it's true.
