According to AS, the Portugal captain feels United's passiveness in the transfer market so far is worrying given that his time at the elite level of football is waning and he will need all the help he can get if he is to add to his trophy cabinet.

When Ronaldo re-signed for the 13-time Premier League champions, he inked a two-year deal, and despite United failing to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season, international football's all-time top goalscorer has reportedly opted to see out the remainder of his contract and help the Red Devils ascend back up football's food chain.

Ronaldo wants reinforcements at Old Trafford, but with pre-season mere weeks away and given the mass exodus of players at the club, the deals will need to be done quickly if the side wish to improve in time for the start of the new season.
