'Ronaldo To Juventus Makes Me Laugh!'

A former Juventus director has explained why he thinks the possibility of Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo joining the Bianconeri is laughable.

Reports: Ronaldo Agrees €100m Juventus Move

The Los Blancos man has been heavily linked with the Italian giants in recent days, with the latest reports claiming that Ronaldo is close to a move to the Serie A champions.

However, Luciano Moggi, a former Juve director, does not believe the club would be able to meet Ronaldo's salary demands, and suggested that they should work on their midfield and defence instead.

"It makes me laugh: Juve's problem is not Ronaldo," he told SportItalia.

"It's putting together the defence and the midfield. For me, they could be going wrong if they want to sign Cristiano, and especially with a 30 million salary, everyone can forget it.

"I wanted to sign him as a kid, Ronaldo, but (the striker who refused to go to Sporting Lisbon in exchange, Marcelo) Salas said no and all failed."

Reports: Barca In Talks With PSG Star's Mother

Ronaldo has only ever played in Portugal, England and Spain in his club career so far, but could potentially join the Italian club he has scored 10 goals against in seven matches.
