Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo has sent a message to the club's new interim manager after Michael Carrick's sudden departure.

Carrick announced after the win over Arsenal that he is leaving the club, a decision which took a lot of the players by surprised as he only informedd on Thursday night.
The former United midfielder was in charge for three games but oversaw the club's qualification to the UEFA Champions League last 16 while registering a draw and a win against Chelsea and Arsenal respectively.
Ronaldo paid tribute to his former Red Devils teammate and also welcomed Ralf Rangnick, who took over for the rest of the season.
"Michael Carrick was a class act as a player and he can become a great coach as well. Nothing is impossible for this guy. Personally, I’m proud to have played with him by my side as well as with him as a manager on our bench. "
Ragnick will take charge of the team for the first time against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
