Real Madrid superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, has reportedly begged his club not to sell Manchester United target Angel Di Maria this summer.
The Argentine looks set to leave Bernabeu after Carlo Ancelotti confirmed he is uncertain over the future of the 26-year-old.
Di Maria played an instrumental role last season, helping his side to the Copa del Rey and the Champions League.
Manchester United are keen to land Di Maria but Ronaldo has now voiced his concerns to let him leave his former club.
It is understood, Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos have held talks with Real president, Florentino Perez, to urge him to keep Di Maria.
According to reports, the winger is seen as a popular member of the dressing room and is a crowd favourite at Bernabeu.
However, with the arrival of Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez it seems as Real’s bosses want to sell Di Maria for around £50 million to level their finances.
