Cristiano Ronaldo has refused to explain his furious outburst after it was confirmed he was unable to play against Lionel Messi's FC Barcelona following a third consecutive positive COVID-19 test last week.
The 35-year-old was unable to feature against the Catalan giants in the UEFA Champions League last Wednesday after he failed a last-minute COVID test.
Juventus were beaten 2-0 at home by the Blaugrana, but not before Ronaldo took to Instagram to hit out at the testing process, appearing to suggest he was feeling fit and healthy.
After returning this weekend with a brace in Juve's 4-1 Serie A win over Spezia on the weekend, he was asked to discuss the comment he had made.
"I don't want to talk about it. The important thing is that I came back and we won," he answered, according to Sky Sports.
"I have been stationary. I had no symptoms and I felt good. Today I went back to doing what I like: playing football.
"Serie A is a competitive league. Milan are doing a great job, as well as Lazio and Napoli. We have to work hard, but we are growing. Cristiano is back, and this is the most important thing."
Ronaldo has now scored five goals in three Serie A matches this season.
