Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who has come in for heavy criticism this season, has commented on Los Blancos' poor LaLiga form.

Zidane: Why Ronaldo Grabbed Phone After Facial Injury

The Spanish giants are currently 19 points behind league leaders FC Barcelona, but Ronaldo feels that Real must not give up hope of challenging for the title.

"If we can win the Champions League at the end of the year, it will be an incredible year," he told Chinese outlet Doonqiudi at Valdebebas.

"We haven't started well in LaLiga and we are disappointed, nobody is happy about that. But now we must work hard for the Champions League because it's the most important trophy for us.

"It will be difficult in LaLiga, but we can't give up, even if we have dropped many points since the start of the season. We have to keep working."

Mourinho Comments On 'Ronaldo To Man Utd' Rumours

Ronaldo has scored just six league goals in 15 games, and has hit the back of the net 18 times in 25 matches across all competitions.

If Real were to win the UEFA right now, im sure retards from Real would tip cr7 to win the balon d'Or even though he's dead. In my opinion its easier to win a competition that has lesser games than the one that has more games.

@Evergreenmessi,Leo Messi once said"When ppl think Madrid is weak thats when they are dangerous"..We can talk guys but the truth is Champions league is superior hence it enables one to win the ballon d'or,thats were u collect points..Did u see how Buffon was crying last year?the answer is simple he wanted to have a feeling of lifing that trophy..he won everything but except the UeFa champions league...even now i still say, should Real Madrid win the Champions league they would've achieved more than any other team in the whole world...
