Zinedine Zidane has named his squad for Real Madrid's LaLiga clash against Leganes on Wednesday evening, with superstar Cristiano Ronaldo being a notable absentee.

Ronaldo Beats Messi To Another UCL Record

The Spanish giants will play their catch-up game away against Leganes, a game several key players will not be available for.

The likes of Toni Kroos, Marcelo, Keylor Navas, Luka Modric and Ronaldo will miss the tie, with the latter believed to be being rested, according to Marca. Meanwhile, Kroos, Marcelo and Modric are absent after picking up injuries.

Real play again on the weekend and next week Tuesday, fixtures they might want Ronaldo to be fully fit for.

Ronaldo Has Better Goal Ratio Than Messi This Season

The Portuguese has played 30 games this season for Real, scoring 26 goals and creating a further five strikes.

Let him rest. They will need him in the return leg against PSG.
