Following superstar Cristiano Ronaldo's goals in Juventus' 3-0 win over Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League this week, the Portuguese made European history by setting yet another record.

The Italian giants were 2-0 down heading into the second leg of their round of 16 tie against Atletico on Tuesday, leaving them with the difficult task of mounting a big comeback.
Juventus got off to a great start when Ronaldo found the back with a spectacular header at the far post 27 minutes into the second leg – his 125th goal in UEFA club competitions, a new record.
The Portuguese forward then went on to score another two goals to complete his eighth Champions League hat-trick, equalling Lionel Messi's record in the competition.
Ronaldo has scored 24 goals and assisted 12 strikes in 36 games for Juventus so far this season.
