A former Italy star has insisted that Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo is not among the top five greatest players of all time.
Ronaldo has established himself as one of the game's greatest goalscorers following his exploits for the Red Devils, Real Madrid, Juventus and the Portugal national team.
The 36-year-old also holds the record for the player with the most goals in men's international football history with 115 strikes to his name.
However, former Italy striker Antonio Cassano, who has been quite critical of Ronaldo in the past, has once again voiced his feelings about the United star after his agent Jorge Mendes said his client should win the Ballon d'Or.
"Enough theatre (from Jorge Mendes)," Cassano told Christian Vieri's Twitch channel Bobo TV.
"Is Cristiano Ronaldo the best in the history of football? He is not even in the top five.
"[Lionel] Messi, Pele, [Diego] Maradona, [Johan] Cruyff and Ronaldo [Nazario] are on another level."
Cassano had previously been vocal about Ronaldo's time at Juventus, during which he failed to help the Bianconeri win the UEFA Champions League despite scoring 101 goals in 134 appearances for the club.
