Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who broke a UEFA Champions League record on Wednesday night, has insisted he loves scoring in Europe's biggest club competition.

The Portuguese hit the back of the net in Real's 3-2 win over Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night, becoming the first player in history to score in every single group stage match of a UCL campaign.
Ronaldo has since suggested he has a special relationship with the tournament.
"It's a competition that I really like to play in," he said, according to Marca.
"Obviously, I also like to score in it."
The 32-year-old, who has won the tournament four times in his career so far also believes Real can lift the trophy once again this season.
"Hopefully we can win the Champions League again," he added.
"The important thing was to pass through the group stage. Our aim is to win the Champions League."
