Cristiano Ronaldo was reportedly "forced" out of a training session due to an injury issue ahead of Manchester United's game this weekend.
According to The Sun, the 36-year-old appears to have picked up a different injury to the one that kept him out of United's 1-0 win over Aston Villa on Monday night in the FA Cup.
As a result, the publication states he was "forced" to stop training before being seen to by the Red Devils' medical team at Carrington on Thursday.
This could mean the five-time Ballon d'Or winner will miss United's Premier League encounter on Saturday evening against Steven Gerrard's Villa, though that is yet to be confirmed.
Away from the field, Ronaldo recently opened up about his return to the 20-time English champions and insisted Ralf Rangnick needs time to implement all of his ideas in England.
Ronaldo has scored 14 goals in 21 games since his second debut for United in September following his departure from Juventus late in the previous transfer window.
