After his two-goal performance against Crotone on Monday night, Cristiano Ronaldo has overtaken Romelu Lukaku in the race for the 2020/21 Serie A Golden Boot.

The 36-year-old scored his side's first two goals in their 3-0 victory over bottom-placed Crotone to see Juventus move up to third spot on the log, eight points behind leaders Inter Milan but with a game in hand.
Ronaldo himself has now scored against every single Serie A team he has played against since joining the Bianconeri in 2018.
His brace on Monday also saw him overtake Lukaku in the Capocannoniere race for the Golden Boot in Italy.
The Portugal captain has taken his tally to 18 league goals in the 2020/21 campaign, while Lukaku is in second place with 17 strikes.
The top duo are followed by a trio of stars, namely Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ciro Immobile and Luis Muriel, who have all found the back of the net 14 times in Serie A so far this season.

Ronaldo, though, is yet to claim the Capocannoniere title since moving to Italy, with Fabio Quagliarella winning it in 2018/19 with 26 goals and Immobile lifting the prize in 2019/20 with 36 strikes.
