Santos has opted to rest Ronaldo following the World Cup, and the European champions have been doing just fine with the forward – A Selecao are unbeaten in five matches, and were the first team to advance to the UEFA Nations League semi-finals.
Despite Ronaldo's lengthy absence from the squad, Santos has insisted the five-time Ballon d'Or winner is still a member of the side.
"There is no doubt. If you still have doubts, I don't know," Santos told reporters, according to FourFourTwo.
"But Cristiano Ronaldo is part of this team."
