Tevez: How Ronaldo Is Different To Messi

Carlos Tevez: How Cristiano Ronaldo Is Different To Lionel Messi

By Kurt Buckerfield - Jan 29, 2018 10:31 AM @KurtLaduma

One of Cristiano Ronaldo's former teammates, Carlos Tevez, has explained how he thinks the Portuguese is different to Lionel Messi.

Zidane: Why Ronaldo Grabbed Phone After Facial Injury

The Boca Juniors forward believes that football comes more naturally to his countryman Messi, while Ronaldo, whom he takes nothing away from, has had to work harder to get to where he is today.

"Cristiano is totally different to Messi," Tevez told ESPN Argentina.

"When Leo was starting out, he didn't touch a gym. But Cristiano was there in the morning, afternoon and evening, all the time. Cristiano had to work and prepare himself to be the best, while, for Leo, it comes naturally.

"Those are the greatest differences that I see between the two best players on the planet."

Asked to pick who he feels is the better player between them, Tevez chose the FC Barcelona man.

"Messi plays another sport," he added.

"For Messi to score three goals (in any given game) is normal."

10 Stars Who Have Rejected Barca

Ronaldo has hit the back of the net eight times in LaLiga so far this season, while Messi has put away 20 strikes.

Penaldo was never a dribbler before and he will never be a one in the future cause his days on the field are numbered . if he leave Madrid then he must retire from football cause no coach can stand his Diva attitude . At Manchester United he used his pace to go past defenders but now he is old he just wait around 18 area for tap-ins and penalties

At Real, Ronaldo lost his identity. He's no longer the dribbling wizard he used to be. Since he came to Madrid, he trained himself on how to create space and score goals. That's all he does. Surely you can't compare him with messi now

@nazzi the second , Tjooo you've explained it very simple. If someone still doesn't understand, I guess that person doesn't understand soccer and never will. I salute you.

When Manchester United went to play Sporting Lisbon, after the game almost all the senior players went to their coach Sir Alex Ferguson raving about the kid that was dribbling the hell out of them, they bagged him to sign the kid!...the following week the kid was at Old Trafford, they gave him David Beckham's number 7 jersey and that kid was Ronaldo! So I disagree to be told that CR7 never had natural ability of drilling skills and he just trained himself to be supper fit and perfectionist while the "other guy" never did such...this is misleading information as much as he is that good but gymnasium to strengthen his little body has also been his home too

It's normal for Ronaldo too to score 3 or 4 goals in any situation at any given time

there is something wrong with that boy called Messi, only he can do the things he does with the ball, you would think he's shoes magnetically attracted to the ball, you can't teach anyone to play like Messi , but you can teach players to play like Cr7
