Carlo Ancelotti Reveals Real Madrid Sacking Secret?
Former Bayern Munich manager Carlo Ancelotti has seemingly revealed a never-told-before secret about his Real Madrid sacking in 2015.
The Italian boss recently picked up an award for his book Il Leader Calmo in Turin, where he spoke about being let go by German giants Bayern.
Speaking on his sacking, Ancelotti said that it was claimed his relationship with the Bayern players was not strong enough, while at Real it was believed he was too friendly with the players – something has never been mentioned before.
"I would've been here to pick up this award anyway, but just to be sure, Bayern told me to take an early vacation," he said, according to Football Italia.
"I don't know if my way of approaching the work is the right one. When I left Madrid, they told me I was too close to the players, then Bayern Munich fired me because they said I had a bad rapport with the players.
"I just want to have a rapport with people."
Ancelotti has been linked with the Italy national team hot seat, but insisted he is not yet ready to coach an international team.
"I still want to work and train every day, so I haven't thought about taking on an international job. I'll be the coach of Italy in the moment when I no longer want to train every day, of course assuming the Nazionale would think of someone like me."
Ancelotti won three trophies at Bayern, while he won four major pieces of silverware with Los Blancos.
