New Juventus signing Alvaro Morata has revealed what club superstar Cristiano Ronaldo told him after he completed a surprise return to the Serie A giants.
The 27-year-old recently joined the Bianconeri on loan for a fee of €10 million (R200 million), with the club having an option to buy him for €45 million (R898 million) at the end of the season.
While Morata has returned to Juve for a second stint, he has also reunited with former Real Madrid teammate Ronaldo, and revealed that the Portuguese told him he was delighted about his move.
"Cristiano told me that he was happy that I'd returned," Morata explained, according to Marca.
"I know him quite well as a person.
"As a player, everyone knows him very well."

Morata scored 27 goals and assisted another 18 strikes in 93 appearances during his first spell at Juventus, when new coach Andrea Pirlo was still an active player.
"It's wonderful to have Pirlo as a coach after he was a teammate of mine," he added.
"I'm impressed by how he manages the group, he's the perfect person for Juve and being a coach was his destiny."
The Spaniard made his second Juventus debut in their 2-2 draw with AS Roma on Sunday.
