An African star, who is also the first Ghanaian ever to play for FC Barcelona, has revealed who he feels is the best player he's played alongside, surprisingly snubbing Lionel Messi for a former Manchester United star.
Kevin-Prince Boateng joined the Catalan giants on loan from Sassuolo in January, but has not had the impact he may have wanted at the Camp Nou so far, having made just two appearances across all competitions since his arrival.
Having enjoyed a glittering career playing alongside the likes of Andrea Pirlo, Clarence Seedorf, Dimitar Berbatov and Ronaldinho, the former AC Milan midfielder has now revealed who he thinks is the best player he has had the privilege of playing alongside.
Boateng, who claimed that Messi was the best player in the world at his Barca unveiling, spent his most successful years at Milan, winning the Serie A title and Italian Super Cup during his three seasons with the Italian giants.
When quizzed as to who best player he has played with is recently, he told Barcelona TV: "Zlatan Ibrahimovic."
Ibrahimovic, now 37 years old, currently plies his trade for Los Angeles Galaxy in the US, but also played for some of Europe's biggest clubs in his career, including Juventus, Milan, Barca, Paris Saint-Germain and United.
What do you make of Boateng's choice? Who is the greatest player in the world, in your opinion? Have your say in the comments section below.
