The International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) crowns the best goalscorer from the 60 highest-ranked leagues in the world on an annual basis.
With some leagues running throughout the calendar year, while others start the previous year, they have now announced the 2019 winner, and it is Algeria star Baghdad Bounedjah.

Tau's Club Brugge teammate Mbaye Diagne is in fourth position after netting 30 goals for Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig in 2018/19 before joining the Jupiler Pro League side on loan this season.
