The 33-year-old was given his preferred number upon signing for the Bianconeri, the same number he donned at Manchester United and Los Blancos, and the number he arguably made more famous in recent history than David Beckham did.

Many were surprised to see Juan Cuadrado give up the No. 7 shirt for Ronaldo after wearing the jersey for two years prior to the Portuguese's arrival.

Italy striker Simone Zaza wore the shirt before the Colombian, also for two years, and prior to that, Simone Pepe was the man wearing the No. 7 at the Bianconeri, doing so for four years, as per Transfermarkt.

Hasan Salihamidzic and Gianluca Pessoto also donned the famous shirt, as did Angelo Di Livio from 1993 until 1999. Before him, 2018 FIFA World Cup-winning boss Didier Deschamps was the man who pulled on the jersey on game days.

Between 1992 and 1994, when players wore the number that represented their position on the field, both Antonio Conte and Giancarlo Marocchi played in the No. 7 shirt at Juve.
