The 35-year-old Juventus superstar has broken records left, right and center since breaking on to the scene, with some of his best appearances arguably coming in the UEFA Champions League.
He holds a series of the competition's records, including being the all-time record goalscorer of Europe's elite club tournament with 129 goals.
Ronaldo has also scored the most goals in a single UCL campaign, netting 17 in 2013/14, and is the only player to find the back of the net in three different finals.
In addition, he has also set many incredible records when wearing his national team's shirt. With 99 goals, he is currently Europe's all-time record goalscorer – only Ali Daei of Iran has netted more worldwide, with 109 strikes.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is also the only footballer to claim the Player of the Season prizes in Italy, Spain and England after being named Serie A's MVP after the the 2018/19 campaign, while receiving the same title for LaLiga in 2012/13 and lifting the Premier League Player of the Season award in 2006/07 and 2008/09.
When Ronaldo was named LaLiga's MVP, it was the only campaign the award was handed out, but he also won the LaLiga Best Player accolade in 2013/14.
