Starting XI: Monaco vs Juventus

Ligue 1 leaders Monaco will host Serie A champions Juventus at the Stade Louis II in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final on Wednesday – here is how the two teams line up.

UEFA Champions League

Teams: Monaco vs Juventus

Venue: Stade Louis II

Date: 3 May 2017

Time: 8:45pm

Leonardo Jardim's team have surprised many in this year's competition with their fluent and attacking football, which has seen them score a total of 21 goals, 12 of them at home.

The French side has a brilliant home record this season, having managed to win six of their seven home UCL matches.

Juventus will come into this game full of confidence, though, as they knocked out FC Barcelona quite comfortably in the quarter-final stage of the competition.

The Bianconeri, who have been the best defensive team in Europe this campaign, see themselves in a second semi-final since 2003, the other coming last season.

However, Juve have an inconsistent record against French opposition in this competition, winning five, lost five and drawing two matches.

In team news, Juventus will be without Sami Khedira, who is suspended for the match, and Marko Pjaca, who is injured.

Monaco will be missing the likes of Djibril Sidibe, Guido Carrillo and Boschilia due to injury.

Here's how they will line up:

Monaco: Subasic. Dirar, Glik, Jemerson, Sidibé, Lemar, Fabinho, Bakayoko, Bernardo Silva, Falcao, Mbappe.

Juventus: Buffon, Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini, Dani Alves, Pjanic, Marcihisio, Alex Sandro, Dybala, Mandzukic, Higuain.
