Starting XI: Juventus v Udinese

Italian Serie A
Teams: Juventus v Udinese
Date: 08 March 2019
Venue: Allianz Stadium
Time: 21:30

Juventus will be looking to extend their massive lead at the top of Serie A when they host Udinese on Friday night at the Allianz Stadium.

The match will start at 9:30 pm.

Bianconeri are in red hot form in Serie A after they extended their lead at the top of the standings to 16 points following a 2-1 victory over their nearest rivals Napoli last weekend.

Massimiliano Allegri’s charges clinched their fourth win in a row with victory at Napoli and could open a gap of 19 points prior to the weekend action.

They have accumulated 72 points from 26 games and they are still unbeaten since the start of the season.

The Old Lady, though, will have one eye on their crunch Champions League round of 16, second-leg tie with Atletico Madrid next week Tuesday, where they need to overturn a 2-0 deficit from the first-leg to stand any chance of reaching the quarter-finals.

On the other hand, Udinese will be hoping to become the first team to beat the mighty Juventus this season, who are expected to rotate their squad ahead of the Champions League match with Atletico Madrid.

Davide Nicola has steadied the ship since he took over from Julio Velazquez in November last year, where the club was flirting with the drop zone.

Udinese boosted their chances of surviving relegation with two back-to-back wins over basement sides Chievo and Bologna, that took them seven points clear of the bottom three on the table.

They are currently lying 15th on the table with 25 points from as many matches.

How they line up.

Juventus: Szczesny, Spinazzola, Barzagli, Rugani, Caceres, Matuidi, Can, Bentancur, Sandro, Kean, Bernardeschi.

Subs: Bonucci, Chiellini, De Sciglio, Dybala, Mandzukic, Perin, Pinsoglio, Ronaldo.

Udinese: Musso, Nuytinck, Troost-Ekong, De Maio, Zeegelaar, Wilmot, Fofana, Larsen, ter Avest, Pussetto, de Paul.

Subs: Nicolas, Bocic, Ingelsson, Lasagna, Micin, Okaka, Opoku, Perisan, Sandro.
