Juventus' No. 10 is said to be close to a move to United, which would see him go to the Premier League as part of a swap deal for striker Romelu Lukaku.
While certain reports have claimed Dybala is not all that keen to join the 20-time English champions, he has reportedly been told he is no longer part of the Bianconeri's plans.
Gazzetta dello Sport, in contrast, has reported that it is very likely the 25-year-old will make the switch to United, saying that "the most probable solution sees Paulo in Manchester".
The Italian publication stated that United have begun negotiations with the player's agent by offering £7.7 million (R134 million) a year for his services, which works out to about £150 000 (R2.6 million) a week.
However, it is believed that Dybala is after higher wages as he seeks to earn closer to between £9.1 million (R158 million) and £10.9 million (R190 million) annually, which equates to a weekly salary of between £175 000 (R3 million) and £210 000 (R3.6 million).
Juve representatives are reportedly Manchester to discuss the potential deal, with the English transfer deadline just a week away.
