After becoming the first signing of Manchester United’s transfer window, one of the Red Devils’ new stars is believed to have already stunned his teammates in training.
Welsh international Daniel James was signed early on in this window ahead of next season, sealing a dream move from Swansea for £18 million (R318 million).
The winger has reportedly hit the ground running at his new club, already impressing his colleagues and coaches in United’s first few training sessions.
According to The Sun, the 21-year-old has come first in all of his early fitness tests, with a source telling the English publication that James has destroyed his teammates in short and long sprints.
The same report claims Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who has loved what he has seen from his new player, plans to ease the youngster into his starting XI.
Speaking on James, the Norwegian manager said he has been delighted with his conduct.
"Daniel has set the marker and the standard on work-rate and attitude in training," he told the club’s official website.
