The European transfer window on closed on Monday, but sensational rumours have now surfaced suggesting that Juventus could pluck three players from Manchester United in the coming months.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, reigning Serie A champions Juventus have identified United's Nemanja Matic, Eric Bailly and star goalkeeper David de Gea as potential targets.

All three players' existing contracts are set to expire at the end of the season, and Juve will reportedly approach the trio in January, when they will be eligible to sign pre-agreements.
The Bianconeri are known to be shrewd operators in the market, and have signed the likes of Sami Khedira, Emre Can, Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey on free transfers in recent seasons.

If United aren't able to tie their stars down to new deals, they may be forced to sell all three players at a cut-price rate in January in order to avoid losing them for nothing at the end of the campaign.
