According to the Daily Mail, the North London outfit are now open to selling their talisman after his recent remarks about his future.
Kane recently claimed he might have to leave if Spurs can't challenge for silverware, with the Red Devils reportedly keen on the England international.
The report claims that Spurs have been angered by Kane's remarks and are prepared to sell the forward for £200 million, which would be a new record for the Premier League.
Former Liverpool star Danny Murphy feels United should do everything in their power to sign Kane if he is available next season.
"Manchester United are closer to challenging for the Premier League title and Champions League than many people think," the former Liverpool midfielder said in the Daily Mail.
"The final piece in the jigsaw is a world-class centre-forward. We know it and they know it. It is why they tried to sign Erling Haaland in January.
"If Harry Kane is available, even for a record price, United would be mad not to look a gift horse in the mouth."
