Result: Kristiansund 0-1 Manchester United

Venue: Ullevaal Stadion
Manchester United maintained their winning record in pre-season with a slender victory over Norwegian outfit Kristiansund on Tuesday evening.
Following their 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur, the English giants went with two changes as new arrivals David James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka kept their slots.
The Premier League heavyweights posted all the opening questions in the earlier moments but weren’t able to breakthrough. Boasting a solid defensive record domestically, Kristiansund had the visitors on a leash with Amidou Diop firing in a long shot off target before 20 minutes.
The Red Devils were frustrated from all angles by the unfancied Eastern Europeans, whose tactful counter-pressing mechanism proved hard to combat.
Although, three minutes to halftime Scott McTominay drilled in to the area before striking the post after a brilliant delivery from James.
Kristiansund carved out their best chance to a breakthrough 52 minutes in the second half, but Sondre Sorli’s header went wide.
Marcus Rashford maintained the Red Devil’s pursuit six minutes later, with Andreas Vaikla’s finger-tip stop keeping out the England marksman.
The Red Devils put out an all new starting eleven two minutes thereafter, with the likes of Paul Pogba and Sergio Romero handed a run out.
Time dawned, as Mason Greenwood twisted inside the area before firing in to the side-netting after linking up with Juan Mata.
The visitors eventually grabbed the winner in added time after Mata converted from the spot after being brought down by Viakla.
Next up for the 20-time English champions is an enterprising battle with Italian superpowers AC Milan before their Premier League opener on August 11 against Chelsea.
