After Manchester United suffered a humiliating defeat to Burnley on Wednesday night, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been backed by the club's board, but that might not be enough to save him from the dreaded sack.
United's poor run of form continued on Wednesday when they succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to Premier League minnows Burnley, a result that ensured that the Red Devils have now lost more games under Solskjaer's permanent reign than they have won.
Despite the club's on-field struggles, however, Sky Sports has reported that the Norwegian manager has received the backing of the club's hierarchy, who seemingly still believe him to be the man to take the club forward.
Nonetheless, according to the Daily Mail, bookmakers across England have slashed the odds on Solskjaer losing his job at Old Trafford, with the 46-year-old now the favourite to be the next Premier League manager to be sacked.
That follows after the phrase #OleOut trended on social media overnight, with hoards of United supporters voicing their frustrations at the under-fire manager.
