With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the Manchester United board still looking at ways to improve the Red Devils’ squad, two shock players have been linked with moves to the club.
According to The Sun, United are interested in 18-year-old Stoke City centre-back Nathan Collins, who has reportedly had scouts watch him in recent weeks.
The young defender has impressed in his debut campaign for the Potters since his breakthrough into the team at the start of the season.
Collins has made 18 senior appearances for the English Championship side this season so far, and has represented the Republic of Ireland at both U17 and U19 level.
A separate report suggests United could also be after Crystal Palace striker Alexander Sorloth (pictured), who has spent the season on loan at Turkish side Trabzonspor.
The Norwegian forward has struck 24 times in 35 matches in the 2019/20 campaign, while he has registered a further seven assists.
A number of clubs are reportedly chasing the 24-year-old’s signature, although he did only score once for Palace across all competitions last season.
