Reports suggest that English champions Manchester City and their neighbours Manchester United are set to go to war over the signature of a Premier League star.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish is being chased by both Manchester clubs ahead of next season.
The 24-year-old playmaker is in arguably the best form of his career so far, and is tipped to be named in Gareth Southgate's 2020 UEFA European Championship squad despite not yet being capped for England.
United were believed to be the first of the two Manchester clubs to express interest in Grealish, but they have since been joined by Pep Guardiola's Citizens.
The midfielder will reportedly consider a move away from Villa Park at the end of the campaign, with his club expecting offers from some bigger clubs in England.
Grealish is also being linked with some LaLiga sides, but is said to be expected to stay in the Premier League.
The player has scored nine goals and assisted a further seven strikes in 27 matches across all competitions so far this season for the Villans.
